Dos and Don’ts for selling your home
Thinking about selling your home? Not sure where to start? The Castle Realty team put together this quick guide to get you started!
DO: DECLUTTER YOUR HOME
Pack away personal items, photos, anything you don’t need for daily living. The things you DO need, store in drawers and cabinets out of sight.
DO: DEEP CLEAN ENTIRE HOUSE
If cleaning isn’t your thing – hire a professional. There are dirty details that people DO subconsciously notice, especially Negative Odors.
DO: YARD/EXTERIOR
Get your yard tidy, mow grass, pull weeds. Declutter where possible.
DON’T: SPEND A TON OF MONEY
There are definitely improvements you can do to raise the value of your home, but there are also many upgrades that you may or may not be able to get back out of the sale.
DON’T: FORGET A CONSULTATION!!!
